The Style Essentials--Faye Dunaway's Killer Glow in 1967's BONNIE AND CLYDE

Bonnie Parker's main accessory, aside from her gun and Clyde Barrow, was a series of killer hats. Her beret and silk scarf combination is as legendary as it is simple, and the be ribboned fedoras she wore on several heists gave her a sense of propriety in improper circumstances.

Hat is a bright element in this movie and become a perfect accessory in daily outfits.

Fedora Chicks & Panama Mamas
Bonnie and Clyde brought new trend: calf length skirts and neckerchiefs became just as hip as go-go boots and PVC,during the decade of mod miniskirts and space-age fashion.

In that film, although Bonnie Parker is a robber, but her dress collocation seems more attractive than the plot. Beret and shawls of the collocation is very popular, in addition, her concise and decent and fission shirt suits also lead
the fashion trend. The film won the Oscar for best costume design in 1968.

In each shot, Faye Dunaway is like a super model was photographing fashion magazine large. No one can than wearing a short skirt, flat shoes, wearing a towel, berets her more beautiful and more fashionable.

Timeless embroidery and chiffon - High Society

Designers are constantly influenced by styles of the past whether it be a silhouette, a pattern, a cut or a fabric. When I saw the lovely Jessica Alba in this Valentino Resort 2013 gown, I couldn't help but remind me so much of the wedding gown Grace Kelly wore in the 1956 classic musical comedy film, High Society.

From the airy draped chiffon to the elaborate floral embroidery, these pieces are clearly cut from the same cloth.

I couldn't tell how much I love all the dresses Kelly wore in High Society! They are just so beautiful!!

Oversize vest is coming back: from the movie 'Casablanca'

Casablanca is a 1942 American romantic drama film directed by Michael Curtiz and based on the unpulished stage play 'Everybody Comes to Rick's' by Murray Burnett and Joan Alison. The film stars Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman and Paul Henreid and features Claude Rains, Conrad Veidt, Sydney Greenstreet, Peter Lorre, and Dooley Wilson. Set during World War II, it focuses on a man torn between, in the words of one character, love and virtue. He must choose between his love for a woman and helping her Czech Resistance leader husband escape the Vichy-controlled Moroccan city of Casablanca to continue his flight against the Nazis.

Trend of Suit: the movie 'Mogambo'

'Mogambo' is a 1953 film directed by John Ford, featuring Clark Gable, Ava Gardner, Grace Kelly and Donald Sinden. The film was adapted by John Lee Mahin from the play by Wilson Collison,Kelly won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress(1954), and the film was nominated for two Oscars, Best Actress in a Leading Role(Gardner), and Best Actress in a Supporting Role (Kelly). The film was also nominated for a BAFTA Film Award (Best Film from any Source USA).'Mogambo'is a lavish remake of the classic film Red Dust (1932) set in French Indochina but in the 1950s was the scene of the First Indochina War. The earlier movie also featured Clark Gable in the lead role. The theme for 'Mogambo' was loosely adapted by Mark Barber for the Auckland University Tramping Club Revue in 1954. A party travelling down the Anawhata on the first Saturday of the May vacation discovered that the cry 'Mogambo' could be produced with great volume and had very satisfactory resonant qualities. It became a club call, of greeting or when making contact on a tramp, for many years.

The story is about Victor Marswell runs a big game trapping company in Kenya. Eloise Kelly is ditched there, and an immediate attraction happens between them. Then Mr. and Mrs. Nordley show up for their gorilla documenting safari. Mrs. Nordley is not infatuated with her husband any morem and takes a liking to Marswell. The two men and two women have some difficulty arranging these emotions to their mutual satisfaction, buy eventually succeed.

There is just something inherently charming about a shorts suit. A lesson in contradictions- the right set is chic enough for most offices and but still playful enough for a night out. Runways from Jil Sander to Carven showed iterations on their spring runways, and we instantly fell in love with the ultra-feminine take on menswear.
We selected several suits from designer brands that really hit in this early spring.

Butterfield 8

The glamorous styling and fashion of iconic actress Elizabeth Taylor—from the 1950s an 1960s. Glamorous vintage fashion from the Golden Age of Hollywood.

Butterfirld 8 is one of those movies where the interiors are so amazing and everything is just so white, ice blue and chic in the apartment.

The pale blue 70's phone with the antique gold and white lamp...

Let's stating from the classic opening scene: Elizabeth Taylor is Gloria, wearing a slip and a mink, padding about her lover's Fifth Avenue apartment after a night of dissolute behaviour. The entire apartment is painted light blue, but the color is bigger than I remember it, and not a washed out baby blue but something closer to a classic mid-century turquoise. Still, the color is very cool, and contrasts with the incredible sensuality of Ms. Taylor.

When she discovers the envelope full of money and a note that says“Is this enough?" she revolts, writes “no sale" on the mirror in lipstick, and runs out the door with a bottle of scotch.

Even her lipstick writing on the mirror is elegant...

The lovely chandeliers, Gold accents with that Butterfield 8 blue-green walls. Pristine white furniture and rattan backed chairs.

Fashion is not just about the collocation of clothing, can also be reflected in your taste in decoration.

Here are  two styles of decoration which are selected the ideas and colors from the movie Butterfirld 8.
